
| Promotion Story: The custom Little Debbie style Barbie dolls, Series I, II and III, were offered as a consumer self-liquidating promotion on packages of Little Debbie Snack Cakes. Series I, offered in 1993, won a Gold Key Award for Best Consumer Promotion and redeemed over 195,000 units. Series II, offered in 1996, redeemed over 250,000 units. Series III, which is currently offered, is redeeming very well. These dolls have become a favorite of Barbie doll collectors and the enthusiasm has grown with each new series offered. |
